LX3 Ultrasound Device
• The Acclarix LX3 VET series Veterinary Diagnostic Ultrasound System consists of a main system and associated ultrasound probes (transducers). • The system circuits generate an electronic voltage pulse that is transmitted to the probe. • The piezoelectric array in the probe converts this electronic pulse into an ultrasonic pressure wave. • When in contact (paired) with the body, the pressure wave propagates through the body tissues. • The waves are then reflected within the body and detected by the probe, which converts these waves back into an electrical signal. • The system then analyzes the returning signals and creates an ultrasound image or spectral Doppler display. • The Veterinary Diagnostic Ultrasound System provides the operator with the ability to measure anatomical structures and includes analysis packages that provide information used by competent healthcare professionals for diagnostic purposes. • The system's user interface offers physical keys (hard keys) for frequently used functions during examination and touchscreen controls for mode-specific functions.
